Hello Class of ‘99! This is a very quick questionnaire regarding some of the details of the reunion. Please take the time to answer this (copy and paste this in a Word doc, and e-mail it as an attachment to HWHSClassof99@yahoo.com; or if we had your e-mail address you should have received this as an attachment and you can utilize that to fill out) – since this is our reunion, we want to make sure we plan an event that will be fun, the right price, and at a time of year that will work best for everyone! Cost is one of our main concerns for the reunion – we don’t have any money in our account, therefore we will have to collect money far in advance from anyone planning to attend (for purposes of paying applicable down payments), and the entire reunion will be funded out of our pockets – just a heads up!

Please answer the following questions:

We were thinking of providing a class directory at the reunion. To facilitate the creation of it, please provide the following information (if you’d like to be included in the directory). Please at least provide your name so we can keep track of who responded to the questionnaire.

1. What time of year would it be easiest for you to attend the reunion?

2. What price range (per person) do you think would be most acceptable for the reunion?*

*Please note, this would be a per person cost. If you are planning to attend with a significant other, double this cost. This would be an adult-only event, so kid pricing is not applicable.

3. Would you prefer cash or open bar (Note that an open bar would likely increase the per person cost of the reunion)?

4. Venue & Entertainment:

So far we’ve looked into several places in the Metro-Detroit area of varying price ranges. Dave & Buster’s, Ernie’s, or Snookers are on the cheaper side and include built-in entertainment so we also wouldn’t have the additional cost of a DJ. So far our preference as far as price and location is Dave & Buster’s; we would have a private room and bar (whether it be open or cash), and they also have AV equipment so we could play the slide show!

If we chose a formal venue, such as Villa Penna, Mac & Rae’s, Blossom Heath, etc (which are more pricey), we’d have the additional cost of DJ entertainment.

Please let us know if you have a preference as to location (keeping in mind cost considerations), or if you have any other suggestions as to location.

7. At the Reunion...

Would you be interested in us conducting some sort of mock elections for the Reunion? (We'd send out a questionnaire ahead of time to get answers to questions such as how many kids?, distance from HW?, etc, and give mock awards at the Reunion based on the results.)

Would you be interested us arranging for a tour of the new school with Mr. Culler the sometime prior to the reunion (i.e. morning of, previous day, etc, depending on the date/time of the reunion)?
